Replacement for TruVativ GXP bottom bracket.

I have a Marin Nail Trail 2008 with a TruVativ GXP bottom bracket and Truvativ Firex 3.2 GXP cranks.
I need to replace the bottom bracket.
Am I tied to a GXP setup or can I use another bottom bracket eg. Truvativ Howitzer XR as I rather not shell out £160 for a straight replacement.
Any and all assistance appreciated.

you need to use any GXP compatible BB

£160 quid is the ceramic version mate
the standard version is only 26 quid at wiggle

You can use Hope BB as it does fit straight on i had one on my P7 but John is right goto wiggle and get areplacement if you want the same again.0
