Beautiful champion of belgium colour scheme - Gilbert would be envious.

Nice set up, I liked the while saddle bag as well.

How does it ride? what else have you ridden before?

  • My other bike is a Cinelli Dinamo which i love.. dropped a FSA carbon seatpost and upgraded the bars and stem to fsa.. upgraded the wheels to fulcrum 5's with schwalbe duranos and she rides like a dream! Got the same saddle and pedals on both!

Its a real toss up what to ride sometimes.. ah decisions decisions :)
  • Sweet bike!

Minging colour scheme TBH, but whatever floats your boat :(
  • ^^^ Jealousy is a motherfucker!
  • Yep personal preference.. better than a stock mass produced black/white/red trek or giant

That's beautiful, totally racey-looking. In the new pic the black rims really set off the black on the frame and fork well.

How did you find this colour? I've looked at their catalogue and not seen it. Did you source it from the continent?

Sorry to repeat this, but this is one of the nicest champion of Belgium or champion of Germany colour schemes I've ever seen. With a the light blue belgian kit this would look killer: http://www.supercycleclothing.com/belgi ... 8716-p.asp or http://www.cyclingnews.com/races/energi ... tos/168090

    Enjoy the ride!

  • Looks like a steep head angle ...
  • Cracking bike! Do love these Bassos! :D
  • Clocked about 200+ miles in the 2 weeks ive had the bike in wet, windy and dry conditions.. it took a while to get used to it but obviously ive made some big changes from my old bike..

The speedplay pedals are amazing.. got another pair for my cinelli..

The Prologo saddle is a funny one... i used to suffer from chafing all the time and its totally cured that.. proven on a 70 mile ride last weekend.. but its uncomfy for the first 5-10 miles then my ass seems to get used to it.. hope i get dialed into it..

Double Touch tape is a revelation too.. very comfy and padded on the top of the bars.. grippy and solid in the drops..

Bars are a beaut.. very comfy..

did some steep climbs this weekend that i had previously struggled up.. massive difference.. its a great feeling when you can feel yourself pushing the bike forward..

decsends great too.. felt very secure and pushed harder than i normally would..

Tyres are super grippy and again instill confidence in wet conditions..

I love the bike and it gets lots of attention when i'm out, much to the annoyance of my scott and trek riding buddies.. Just need to get a beligian champions kit now, although my 2010 Amore & Vita kit goes nicely!

That frame colour is a great balance between punchy and classy. Very handsome looking bike!
