Rockshox recon Silver TK spring rates

I picked up new Rockshox Recon Silver TK coil sprung fork for my hardtail last week to replace the crap Dart 3 fork.
The ride is so much better, and really flows over the bumps, however I think the spring rate maybe too soft for me (I'm a big lump at 16st) - i've got the preload wound right in to get the correct level of sag/pre-load, but on general 'single track' riding i'm using the forks complete travel, and can get it to bottom out when I really try.
Are stiffer springs available? or is this just what it is supposed to do? (not had much experiene of forks other than my old dart 3 which I always thought was crap)
