How do you guys go about cleaning your lenses? The cleaning/storage bag they come with does the job but sometimes when the sun hits them they seem a tad smeary.

That should be the first line of cleaning advice with every pair of sunglasses. It is so important to do because it rinses any salt away that might be on the lenses from sweat droplets. Salt is abrasive and is what buggers up lenses.

    will fairy liquid be fine?
  • I use fairly liquid on all both my Oakleys - best way to clean them IMO.

Soap or fairly liquid is fine. Just use your fingers to give them a good clean with plenty soap and water, then rinse under the tap. Don't touch the lenses with fingers after you have started rinsing. Then shake as much water off as possible, perhaps soak some up with kitchen towel (but DON'T rub with kitchen towel!) then rub with clean bag or lens cloth. Or the bottom of a clean cotton T-shirt if your lens bag is a bit greasy. Despite what they say this won't do any harm.
