I ride my bike. You ride yours.

I don't have to ride your bike. You don't have to ride mine.

You think your bike is the best. I don't care, I love my bike.

I think my bike is the best. Why would you care? Ride your bike!

Magazine A gives my bike a high score. Why would you care? Ride your bike!

Magazine B gives your bike an even higher score. Why would I care, I love my bike!

    Meh.

It raises its head every few months then fizzles out for a while, it will be another popular bike/trail centre/online bike shops turn next time.

I once comented that I thought Brechfa was better than Afan, it raged for days, I had to move house and change my name.

You have to read it with Graig Charles' voice in mind, then it makes sense. :)

See the little face after my post? That means I'm taking the mickey, so take a chill pill, sit back and relax.

This is some kind of "spacetime crashing in on itself" shizzle going on here, isn't it?
I think I can derive some meanign from it though. Trhoguh some complex processes, I have integrated the original post, and distilled it to this... it's purest form.

Your distillation process has gone wonky. I don't care if you don't like my bike. But if you don't like it, why don't you just ride yours.

I don't even care what yours is, but you seem to care about it, otherwise you wouldn't have gone to the bother of making this thread now, would you?

A thread about not talking about other people's bikes is another example of a thread where people talk about other people's bikes? I get you!

But you ARE talking about other people's bikes, it's right there, in the first post.

Kinda like when someone starts a sentence with "I'm not racist or owt, but..."
(Incidentally, I had a fascinating discourse with such a "person" today  )
