A Thank You To My Fellow Roadies

Had a puncture today, was a bit complicated so I called for a lift home.
As I stood by the roadside waiting - it was a very fast road - over a 20 minute period, 7 separate cyclists came by, and every single one slowed, made eye contact and asked if I was ok / needed help and seemed ready & willing to stop and help me.
Just wanted to say thanks to whoever they were, but also to roadies in general for always being so helpful & generous!

I was fixing a puncture by the road side a few weeks back and a car passed by, did a U turn and drove back to where I was. A kind gentleman wearing a dog collar (in the clerical sense) asked me if I was OK and did I have all the materials needed to fix my bike. I reassured him I had everything required and thanked him for stopping.0

They were probably interested to know what was making that horrible squeaking/rattling/grinding noise.0

I mended a puncture for a fella on a mtb last week. He was a total newbie and had nothing in him so stopped to help.
I always make sure people are ok and 99% of the time they are.
Most roadies would stop and help I find, sort of an unwritten rule.0 -
I always stop and ask. In fact, the one time I recorded my ride home I do exactly that to some guy pushing his bike. I also always stop when I see cyclists looking at maps to see if I can help. I've also found that people stop for me, too. Mind you, people are incredibly friendly up here (speaking as someone from the SE of England)ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0

I think it's really good.
I had a puncture on my ride the other week, whilst fixing it every cyclist that went passed asked if I had the necessary tools, if I was ok... It's really nice. I make sure to ask the same if I see a cyclist fixing his bike.
If I come towards another cyclist I always say hello or give a short wave. Most do the same.
Us cyclists really are a nice bunch )0
