Quick fork question

I maybe silly and it might normal, whilst out riding the bike today everytime i pick the front end the there seem to be slight movement and a slight knock. i thought it was my headset, but it turned out to be the fork, on pulling the front end up the sanctions move up, so fork extends by a cm and then there is a knock in the top end of the lowers

They are fox float 36s 160mm upgraded with fit rc2 cartiridge, only two months back they had a service. the scantions bottom (internal) seems to hit the top of the lower legs (internal) and i can feel and hear a knock when they come into contact with on another.

Your service work should come with a guarantee - they certainly need looking at, and I would contact the place that did them.

thanks for the reply, I let some air out of the forks and the sound and knock as gone, fingers crossed
