I'm taking a test ride on a Trek 2.5 tomorrow and if it rides as good as it looks (and as smoothly as some mag reviews have reported) then i'll sign up.
Ive been looking for a while for a carbon bike for sportive duties in the 1300-1500 range so I've surprised myself to be looking seriously at an Alu bike. So.....I would be delighted to hear from any 2.5 or 2.3 owners on their thoughts, in particular how the Trek performs for longer distance stuff as I have another bike I use for shorter, quicker rides.

i have the 2.3 and love it. runs smoth and very well. is a lot lighter than some of the peoples carbon bikes at the same price.
well worth the cash.0
