Removing Mounting hardware from RP23 (cove hustler)

Hi

I am trying to do an aircan service on an RP23 rear shock. The can is from a Cove Hustler. I have released the air and undone the air sleeve but I can't get it to come over the bottom of the shock.

I can't remove the mounting hardware as I have tried just pulling but it won't come off. I'm not sure how else it is suppsed to come off? Also I assume it is this that is stopping me being able to take the air sleeve off and not anything to do with the air seal?

grip in a vice or some other thing and pull more.

I assume you mean try harder to pull the mounting hardware out and not the air sleeve?

I think he means shock in vice and pull the can harder.
