Best route in your opinion guys?
A mate is doing this as of next week and I don't know the roads past Putney as I work in the sticks in Zone 2...I also know nothing about these cycle highways (never knew they existed!!)

Surbiton > Kingston > Kingston Gate > Richmond Park any way round you like to Roehamptoon Gate > Priory Lane > Lower Richmond Road > Putney Bridge > New Kings Road > Chelsea Embankment > Millbank > Parliament Square.
From there either down Whitehall, Trafalgar Sq, Covent Garden, Holborn. Or, Embankment Temple, Aldwych, dury lane, Holborn. Or Westminster Bridge, Waterloo > Waterloo Bridge > Aldwych ....--
