I'm new to the roadie lark, and have discovered that 30 miles into a ride i'm getting a very sore a*se in my standard shorts.
so i bought some gel shorts from wiggle: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/altura-pro-gel-waist-shorts/
my question is - are you supposed to wear anything underneath them? I'm guessing not?

nothing underneath them....i have the same shorts and i can't go out without them on....comfy is an understatement!
Anything over 1.5 - 2 hours on the saddle and get some chamois cream on too0 -
