Fox Talas 32RL 2008 Problems

Fork hasnt locked out properly for a couple of months but hadnt been riden much, maybe twice. Noticed after ride at weekend forks not returning to 140mm position from 120mm. Sag not correct either so got my Fox pump out and adjusted air to 70psi. Fork returned to 140mm setting but when I compressed fork it seems to 'bottom out' half way down. Will not compress fully only half way then it comes to abrupt stop.

Anoyone any ideas what is causing this. Think it would be bad idea to ride em tho in this condition.
