What Race Tyres?

Been trying to decide which tyres to fit to the race bike. At present i have Panaracer Fire XC Pro 2.1's front and back but thinking of getting something a bit faster. Will be fitted during the dryer months so good for dry conditions but still work ok in damp and wet should they need to. Will not be going tubeless.
A few i have been looking at:
Nobby Nics
Racing Ralphs
Rocket Rons
Continental Race Kings
Anyone with helpfull advice/experiance greatly appreciated!

Rocket Rons, unless you're somewhere very rocky when I'd go for Racing Ralphs.0

I take it that Race Kings are for a dry hard packed course and the X Kings for mainly dry but better than the Race Kings if things get a little damp? Do the X Kings corner better than the Race Kings?
Seems like the Black Chili versions are very good and with the added pucture protection they still weight in at 480g.
I see alot of bikes using Schwalb combo's but when looking through reviews they dont seem to do so well?http://www.mudsweatgears.co.uk

it depends on the conditions."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Not sure why, but the race kings are pretty sketchy in all conditions from what I have tried (only used them once). The xKings on the other hand seem very handy in the dry, and although Ive yet to try then in the damp, they look like they would work better. I'd always add around 10% to the weight of the Racesport tyres though from what Conti say, they have special scales for them!A Flock of Birds
