shimano m445 brake pads

im looking to replace my pads soon on my shimano brakes B01S type but there are a few options sinterd ceramic kevlar resin but my discs say resin only why is this will the others destroy my disc new to this any help would be great

    I have the same brakes, and as you say, the brakes state 'resin only', as i understand it, this is due to the rotor as opposed to the brake pistons etc, you can pick up a replacement rotor from about £10.

    ignore the "resin only" and fit what you want.

    It is only to do with rotor life.
