tyres and rollers

Hi all,
I have received my first cycleops aluminium rollers with resistance unit (which I think were a "bargain" at 220 quid at wiggle) and I have managed to do 30min fast tempo ride, got used to the rollers in 2 minutes but I still ride in the doorways to avoid falling off when spinning like a mad man at 65 kph and also I have been sweating more than I was expecting to do so . However, the only things I'm concerned about are the tyres... The rollers are silver aluminium and now my tyres are silver too from riding on it. I also don't know whether they have worn a little or not.
My question is whether do you have any experiences with these rollers and what effect on the tyres have these got. Would they wear out quickly? Should I buy cheap wheels to use on it or it's okey to use my main and only ones?
I would really appreciate all advices

I use aluminium rollers and use my race wheels and tyres without issue,it's only on a turbo trainer where tyres get knackered.Check your tyre pressure firstly, then wipe the rollers with a baby wipe or some meths.0

I know I just wanted to test it as it's the first time I've see myself something like that0

Do NOT use Schwalbe Durano S tyres on rollers, the tread heats up and disintegrates right off the tyre casing.. happened to me after 3x 10 mile sessions on the rollers, I had a little pile of rubber nubbies on the carpet, and realised that the centre of tyre tread had fallen apart completely..
It's almost worth picking up a cheap pair of wheels, and mounting the trainer/roller specific tyres on just for that type of use. The tyres are specifically designed not to heat up..
pics of the Durano's are here: http://anotherdooratthe.endoftheinternet.org/2011/01/20/schwalbe-durano-s-tyres-contact-surface-desintegration/........................
