Hi everybody,
I have a mtb bike (freeride/dh style) which I love to ride in mountain. This summer I had some road rides and I think that I'm started to be addicted, although the bike don't be road friendly.
I would like to have a road bike to use everyday (going work, about 20Km) and long rides (about 150Km). I'm looking for a good lightweight bike to start, I found some:

Around 1000£

Around 1400£

I just choose a 1400£ if it justify the 400£. Do you advice me any of these or other?

  • if you have a decathlon nearby try out the facet 3 £899, full carbon, shimano 105 groupset.

awsome value, and unusually includes pedals in the price.
  • I was in a similar position and ended up with a Battaglin C11 from Wiggle - Its in the sale now at about £930 (reduced from £1200). Full Italian carbon frame and Campag veloce/fsa bits. In fact everything on the bike is Italian. It looks great, rides real nice and is a bit different to the norm.
I'm very pleased with mine and Wiggles service is excellent. Check it out.

I saw it too, but for me the size will be a 56, which isn't available.
What do think about Verenti frames? I'm thinking in the rhigos.02, the price almost pays the wheels and sram force group.

A little over budget (by 99) but what about a caad 10.

Great frame, great bike, really light, comfy and lifetime warranty on the frame. Its also got full 105 (aside from fsa gossamer crank set).

Do a google search and read the reviews!!
