Bought a pair of Wellgo V1's off Ebay and after two rides i'm getting a continuous clicking from the left pedal, would this be the bearing??? Only done 17miles on them!

New or used? take it off and see if the axle is loose.

New mate, being a newbie to all this is it a case of whipping of the rubber cover at the end??

Before you get that far just pull your pedal there shouldn't really be any play (a fraction) if it does your axle has worked loose.

Did you apply a little anti-seize grease on the thread before you fitted the pedals?

Take it the noise was not present before the new pedals?

Have you checked to see if the pedal has worked loose in the crank arm?

No I didn't and realised I probably should have, and no the old cheapo plastic pedals didn't do it...

Have greased her up and will take her for a spin in the morning, pedals felt secure when on no give when attempting to move them.

If all is solid and noise is still there could be the bearings, take her out and let us know.
