Notice that if anyone has to drop out I would happily buy their ticket (plus a drink)

I'm signed up. According to the email they sent out today, it isn't sold out yet.

Just over three weeks to go to this. I've been signed up for months, but beginning to wonder just how well supported this event is going to be. I don't see much discussion of it here or elsewhere.

There's also no detailed route info/elevation profile either. It has been promised that it will be sent out two weeks before the event. Not ideal.

Anybody else signed up for the 115 mile?
  • i got an email saying that close to selling out, sign up soon ... but that may be hype advertising.

was considering it, but put off by lack of route/elevation and that for £28 you get a few gels and some powered drink. paying same amount for an action medical research ride, which are typically fantastically organised with interesting -- and challenging -- routes.

I got an email after signing on to it - there are 3 food stations and the elevation is big with Box Hill, North Downs and the chilterns thrown in...worth a go

  • There is now an elevation profile on their website:

  • that actually isn't much climbing for the length of the ride ... am surprised but may be due to the looping around windsor / dorney, which is really flat. .
