I'm down for the 100km ride this coming Sunday. Did anyone do last year's ride? What's it like regarding route, organisation etc.? Thanks.

Did the 100 mile last year very well organised and good route.Had its fair share of hills not too demanding though and if your legs were crying no more for the sting in the tail you could take an alternate route around the hill. Apparently it was their first year. Only comment on last year was they needed an extra stop on the 100 mile, which this year they have apparently added. If its as good as last year you'll enjoy.Have fun.0

I've just been reviewing the results from the ride and I'm amazed that several cyclists completed the 100 mile route in under four hours. That's total time, not cycling time, and means an average of over 25mph.
The route had a few climbs and it was windy and very wet for an hour or so. I'm pleased to be able to hold a cycling average of just under 16mph over that kind of distance, but these guys are something else. Under half my age, come to think of it.Purveyor of "up"0
