Degreaser

As a serial cleaner, with OCD, and owning a few bikes I go through Degreaser like water.
My favourite is Finish Line Eco Tech. Its costing me a few quid though, just wondered if there was a cheaper solution?

Mibbes a 'ghetto' style home brew or a cheaper alternative to the excellent Finish Line.

    Just don't use petrol indoors. Petrol vapour behaves unpredictably and if you manage to ignite a pocket of it you'll get barbecued.

    white spirit or turps worked cleaning some heavy grease from my frame.

    best put your fag out before cleaning your chain then...

    Pound for pound, petrol is stil probably the cheapest degreaser out there....

    Auto Glym engine cleaner? Litre can be had for a £5 on Ebay.

    Auto Glym £5 per litre - petrol around £1.38 per litre. That's a tough choice....

    White spirit is oil based. Great for brushes, rubbish for brake discs.
