we havent done one of these for a while round ere so whats your thoughts on this pair for the wife RE birthday:
camera for wife RE
and
bag for wife RE
i would imagine there are cheaper places to buy them but i wanted them yesterday so went to currys.
gonna buy her a zoom lens too but couldnt fine owt for a sensible price and i know nowt about "tamron" lenses, advice is appreciated in that respect.

Wife is wanting that particular model of camera as well. I remember her being a bit sniffy over Tamron stuff mentioning that it was better to spend a bit more and get a couple of proper lens kits than a "jack of all trades" oneFormally known as Coatbridgeguy0

Tamron lenses are fine, but make sure its fully compatible with your model of camera. It would be annoying to find out that certain vibration reduction or AF features won't work. Camerabox BTW is good for package deals.A Flock of Birds
