Cummings is also currently in the GC points scoring position so he'd take it up to 8 too if he can hold that.Jibbering Sports Stuff: http://jibbering.com/sports/0 -
Cummings is ninth in GC which according to the link posted earlier is worth 10 world ranking points. Assuming no disaters tomorrow and he retains that position would GB now be entitled to 8 riders at the world champs?
Aha, thanks Jibberjim for answering my question before I'd even asked it.0 -
A great final 15kms, regardless of the fact that it delivered more good UK news.
I never thought Sagan would pop within sight of the finishing line.
That stage was much, much harder than David Harmon's 'Tour intermediate stage' comparison."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
Talking of the World's, and looking at the ranking points, GB would have been around the same points as Netherlands with a good Wiggins showing at the Tour. Although Gesink would have done well.0

What are Eurosport up to? Highlights suppose to start at 8.30, can understand if live sport over-runs but they are showing crash fillers for some reason!0

(If Dan Martin remembers which country Birmingham is in it will be the full nine for the Worlds. )
[reflex]If Wiggins remembers that Belgium isn't part of GB you'll be back down to 8.[/reflex]“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -
That was pretty excitng. Impressive by Sagan there to take second on the stage and the overall.
What has happened to Kennaugh?0 -

What has happened to Kennaugh?

37. [ITA] MARANGONI Alan LIQ 0
38. [CHI] OYARZUN GUIÑEZ Carlos Ivan MOV 0
39. [POL] MAJKA Rafal SBS 0
40. [BEL] DE GREEF Francis OLO 0

43. [ESP] MADRAZO RUIZ Angel MOV 0
44. [GER] FRÖHLINGER Johannes SKS 0
45. [GBR] KENNAUGH Peter SKY 0
Yet Cummings moves up, from 8th to 9th and Kennaugh drops out of the top 10 altogether. Must have been a split around spot 40.
Gave up a top 5 in a WT GC, to get Cav another bottle carrier at the worlds."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
On cyclingnews.com he (Kennaugh) is listed as finishing 5thoverall, so it looks like a mistake in the unofficial result.0

Looks like Kittel monstered a whole host of ProTour riders...shame on them. Looks like he will be big like Guardini will be.
BS that Sagan gets the GC from Martin due to bonus seconds.Contador is the Greatest0 -

Kittel stage 3. If that was on the finish then that is totally insane and there must have been a big tailwind.
