Hi there, my wife and I are looking for a couple of mountain bikes to do some light off roading and woodland trails etc and some road use ofc. After a trip to a few bike shops I'll be honest and say Im a little bewildered by it all. So much choice!

One bike we liked was the Ridgeback MX3 at £279 each. Is this a good bike and price for the kit it has on it? Also the Raleigh AT10 was good.

We want the bikes to be light and reliable but other than that we dont mind.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thank you.

Then you have best choices like:
    1) Vitus VEE-1
    2) Saracen TuffTrax

Ok thx for the replies so fast. So are the Halfords and Decathalon bikes better than the Ridgeback and Raleigh i mentioned then?
