Kooki child seats: any experiences / thoughts on them?

Hi,

I have been given an unused Kooki child seat. Not used it yet, it is pretty solid and looks very similar to some of the Hamax child seats in design. It appears to be manufactured in Germany by a company called Kindersitz (?). Anyone have any experiences or thoughts on them?

When searching on the web, I found many results on Amazon, Argos (some pretty good reviews too), and UKBikeShop has them listed under the Canyon brand, but found nothing on here or other cycling web sites about them.

I always intended getting a child seat. Our daughter is 9 months old but just shy of 9kg, so will probably wait a month yet before using. It was nice to receive, but if in any doubt, should I go for a Hamax / City Limo / Topeak seat? The seat is going to be fitted to a 16” frame, 2007 Kona Fire Mountain.
