Shimano M520 pedals & MT32 shoes Query

I am thinking of getting the M520 19.99 and MT32 39.99 at Decathlon this week. Is this a good combination? My trusty steed is a MTB so SPD is the way to go. Cost as to be kept at a minium - with September coming and school kits for the children a priority, can't go spending too much money. Your views please

Use both on my hybrid. They are my first spd set and so easy to use. The shoes are also great for walking around.

Get them and enjoy.
