Hi Guys, when doing 10 mile time trial I inevitablly end up hyperventillating all the way round, I'm not sure pushing so hard from the beginning is really helping my time, should I turn it down a bit so I can push harder towards the end, when I mostly really struggle?

cheers

Seems to me you have answered your own question. If you are finding you push too hard from the start and end up dead out after 6 or 7 miles, then try to keep the power output at a steady level and not too high for the first 5 miles, then kick up the pace then.

Yes, you'd be suprised how much a positive impact on times proper pacing can have.
