it's one of those odd weeks with the wind again.

usually we get the wind in the day and It's calm in the night but sometimes it'll go through the night but this week........its different.......

It's calm in the day and blowing in the night....

Why?

    Don't know, sorry Will :lol::wink:
    Science adjusts it’s beliefs based on what’s observed.
    Faith is the denial of observation so that Belief can be preserved

    At least for this week the wind down yer is looking sensible, for a change. But on the whole I think Devon gets a lot of wind directions affected by the temperature differential between sea and land - one of them cools down much more quickly than the other, so you get on/offshore breezes which go quite some way inland. And since we're pretty much surrounded by sea, that's a lot of sea breezes. It just amuses me when all the wind arrows are pointing in completely different directions on the weather map - makes trying to find a tailwind a challenge.

    I have the answer at least for near me and I'm not far from Selby.

    Basically it all started on saturday night with a curry that was heavily loaded with spinach. :shock:

    Please all be aware that heavy use of spinach in a curry dish can and did result in heavy violent winds for days after.

    Although to be fair, I think I should be just far enough away that it is not my wind your feeling, unless of course it arrives in smelly gusts????? :lol:
