Anyone got a freeload bike rack ??? what a clever bit of kit ... I'm looking for a front rack for an old school MTB trekker comp we now use as a utility bike when out with the family but also like the idea of being able to use it on my Stumpjumper FSR... http://www.freeload.co.nz/pages/13/The-System

If you have one I would much appreciate some feedback re build quality and ease of use etc ...

Regards

Phil

I'd be cynical about the straps wearing out over long term, which means you need to be able to access spares, and how low-vibration can the whole set up be, just clamped (not screwed) into place? That said, my ordinary racks are far from vibration free. Might need a lot of wellie to get a snug reasonably movement-free fit (speaking as someone with weak hands). Plus it's a mud catcher (you knew that anyway). Though, given nothing(?) else will go on suspension forks, I can see the appeal.

You must write a review for BR when you've tried them!
