Just a quick question
Is speccific Suspension lube really nessacary?
I know that after cleaning your bike your should lightly lube your forks to keep the movemnt smooth, stop the seals splitting and doing damage.
I spoke to my LBS and they said they just use a 3in1 type oil to lube forks.
Is this ok? Could i use a chain lube with PTFE in it or some Silicone spray that i've got.
any ideas?
many thanks
Jason

3 in 1 should be avoided.
Use what is in the fork ie the hydraulic fork fluid. Though most forks are fine with teflon chain lubes.0 -
or if you have a fox, fox do fork lube for there seals, bit pricey but not bad stuff0

sprays should also be avoided."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

BRUNOX DEO LUBRICANT
is the bollox, a little on each leg, compress a few times and the sh*t in the wipers comes out, bottle lasts ages and keeps your wipers cleaner and lubed, meaning your forks lasts longer. I've stripped my forks down a few times to alter travel and the oil inside has been clear as the day I stuck it in.Don't think, BE:0
