Love those smooth welds on that frame!

A used Prophet was on my shortlist before I came across my Reign.

Lovely bike, that spec looks superb!

Thanks guys :), only 12.3kgs with sealant and GPS. Not that bad for an 140mm aluminium frame.

I did the opposite, £400 for the prophet frame was a better deal than the reign I've found one year ago :'(.
  • Some updates to my prophet (27 lbs or 12.25kgs without the GPS) :
    • Gravity Dropper Classic, 3", 350mm, right hand side
    • Ritchey WCS Grip
    • Matchmaker Hope

  • Nice looking bike. I was thinking about Prophet frames when I wanted to build a new bike. Couldn't find a decent one in large though.

Looks like you have some proper terrain to keep yourself happy too. Check out my Spitfire in my link below, awesome ride and just getting started with it.
  • Thanks man.

Yup, I've nothing to complain about the rough and rocky terrain (except for the wind), something like 300 sunny days a year, almost only single tracks. Not that bad right?

When I want epic trails (I mean better than the trails I'm used too), the Mount Ventoux is only one hour by car from my home or almost one hour and a half from my home there is Saint Guilhem le Désert (around Montpellier).

I guess you've heard of the Ventoux due to the Tour de France, but in addition of being one of the most beautiful villages of France, Saint Guilhem le Désert has one of the best mountain bike trail I've ever seen.

Look at this video on Zapiks.com
  • Nice bike :D

Lovely area of the world to bike in, I've ridden many roads around the Olargues area, and the hills northwest of Pezenas over to the Orb.

I never realised there was much singletrack around there!
  • They are tons of singletracks around, some of these tracks date from the middle ages, but most of them was and are used by hunters.
  • That's a serious trail. Was it really early in the morning or late evening?
  • early in the morning, they using a jersey in April so I guess they shot the video in the morning ;).

First time I rode this trail I was on a Cannondale M900, harm pump all the way
