Cav gets green, wins on the Champs and Cadel takes yellow with a really gutsy, solid performance. All came down to a TT and halfway through, the result was anyones guess. Brilliant stuff this year.

    I felt was a bit of a burning, got better as the race went on.

    Best Tour since 2003. If somebody produces a 10+ hour DVD, like used to be done in the Lance years, I would actually fork out for it this time.

    Just got back from a week following it through the Alps with 20 Aussies. What a finale to the trip! I've never seen so many Australian fans at the tour – and tellingly there seemed far fewer Americans there than previous years.

    I've cheered on Cadel for years though not too vocally, so this is one of those victories in sport you take your hat off too because most sport results, eh, I was cheering on the other team.
