Is a longer headtube the main spec to look for for a relaxed geometry frame.
Example if a head tube is say 10cm longer will this make a substantial difference to the overall relaxed position on the bike?
I know this only lifts the bar hogher, but does it effect the bike so much to discount other bikes that have shorter headtubes?
Any advise appreciated

It plays a part yes but its the top tube coupled to the head tube that gives a stretched or more upright feel to a bike. Also seat tube and head tube angles play a part.0
