I'm 6ft 5inch and have the biggest frame. I found the top tube shorter compared to what I was used to before.

My advice would be the large 56cm frame.

I am only 5.7" with a 29" inside leg but they advised a medium as my ape index is slightly positive

I'm 6ft tall and an inside leg of 32-33.

So am I and ride a 56cm Focus Cayo from 2009, fits bang on. I wouldn't want to ride a frame size bigger.

I've found out that Wiggle won't give me the 30 day trial, because I'm using the discount code!

@RowCycle - So would you think the XL frame would be too big for someone who is 6ft?

Sorry, I wouldn't feel confident to advise anyone on frame size, being fairly new to this myself, just thought I would pass on an observation I had from my bike (XXXL) incase it provided you any help.

Reading the Wiggle Q&A they seem to suggest L for someone with similar size to you.

I know nothing about bikes, but I think it would be too big for you

    Depends on your geometry

I am your size and had your dilemma. I spent hours over the charts and got measured by mrs bbh on numerous occasions and plugged the data into online fitting calculators. In the end I went for the XL.

I think I should have gone for L. Dont get me wrong, it fits and I can ride it without any discomfort. However, I feel I cant get the saddle to bar height that I want and I also feel very slightly stretched out on it.

You have to make your choice and go with it. Remember, wiggle are very good and you get a 7 day test ride to try it out, so if its wrong you can send it back.

Its always easier to get a good fit on a smaller frame (e.g. longer stems etc..) than one thats too big!!

Hope that helps, let us know what you go for :)
