2010 Boardman HT Pro

Was given this frame as payment for building a bike for a work mate, so decided to turn what is a lovely frame into a decent hardtail. My aim was to make a simple, clean looking bike with no fuss.

Pretty light bike in standard guise so id like to think its a wee bit lighter in this guise.

I've been used to a carbon hardtail for the last couple of years so this is a real change. I'm enjoying how communicative this frame is compared to flexi carbon.

    very nice bike- I'd more than be happy myself if all my friends were paying me this way for building their bikes. good colouring also

    22.2lbs (with pedals) - itching to break the 10kg mark but it will stay as is until i can find a bling crankset along with a ceramic BB.

    As I said earlier... that looks bloody sweet now :)

    If you want bling out of a crankset though John, Truvativ Noir is about as blingy as you can get (in red of course ;) )

    Went out in the muddy stuff today mate, the tyres are coping great but methinks a Neoguard or Bender Fender is due as I got a whole load of crud (for want of a better word) in my face and under my riding glasses :(
