    Love the Voodoo Chile soundtrack
Watching the video I was thinking 'some of those places look familiar' then it clicked, Leigh Woods, Brizzle! I used to live neat there.
Great video with nice random shots from the bumper cars :¬)

Good video, just rear shots are a bit of a bummer in places with the solar flare (who'd have thought someone would complain that it's too sunny eh  ) and maybe you could get someone behind you following a bit closer.

The pedantic highway code man in me says be careful filming yourself overtaking a car on the wrong side of the bollard as you could leave yourself open to a jobsworth!

I do love the variety of shots in the video though, nice work mate
  • Thanks for the feedback. Good points. I can't find anyone who can stay close behind me for long! I will endeavor to abide the highway code more closely! ;-)

    Thanks again,

    Grant.

    Cool.

I guess it was filmed before the new trails went in?

  • Yeah, i'll have to get some footage ofthe new trails soon! I think they're nearly all open now. They're going to be great for winter riding...or British summers!

Yep, the whole of AC is open now.

  • The new trails are awsome! They´ve got some way more challenging sections now...at last.

  • The new trails are indeed excellent, can get some proper speed up now
  • I went on the new trails in Leigh woods yesterday and they're awesome too!

  • nice vid bud cool mix of angles especially the one where the view is partiall on your nose gives a really cool motion, im going to try and do that myself! only negative critisisms i could give is that some of the shots are too short) it appears on screen and before my eys have taken in the whole image its gone) but other than that i reallt liked it. also would be cool to see somthing (a jump maybe) from a few angles so from your POV a side shot and a heard on just to give a real tase of the action! But to get back to the posotives the multiple environments were brilliant definately kep the intrest up and the rear shot of "the drop" was awesome it really gave a good felling of speed and gradient somthing which often gets lost in filming. keep up the good work bud im looking forward to the next one.

try and get hold of a tachyon XC camera the image is amazing and the light adaption is the best on the market! (hopefully the goPro hordes wont be after me for saying that ha ha)

  • Doc you legend!

Thanks for the awesome feedback! That's just what I'm looking for to help improve for the next film. I've been looking into other cameras and have just bought a high speed camera that will record up to 1000fps for some real slow mo action! There are some examples of how i hope to use it below (my camera is nothing like as good as this one but you get the idea!)
