Glentress bunkhouse near a pub please.

I am organising a trip up North for about 5 of us. We don't mind driving a bit to the trail centres but the accommodation needs to be close to a pub and cheap! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Avoid the glentress hotel at all costs. Its a cold, damp dump. And the breakfast was horrible too.

    google a place call the bike lodge. it's in innerleithen, me a 4 mates went a few years ago and would highly recommend it.

    3 twin rooms, all with en-suites, living room kitchen, dining area and a bike workshop. it the town center so several pubs staggering distance and the and you can get a down hill run in before breakfast as the trails are so close.

    wasn't too bad cost wise IIRC
