Carbon disc wheel.
It's why we buy them. Not cause they make us go faster but for the noise.0 -

Get yourself down to a TT and fill your boots. The sound is amazing in real life but not so amazing if you are racing and you hear one as it means you've been caught!Norfolk, who nicked all the hills?

I've never seen people using solid disc wheels in a triathlon – but I deep section rims have a similar sound, if a bit less hollow sounding. The noise can be useful guage of how hard someone just behind you is riding, i.e. if they are winding up to attack on a climb.0
