rear shock valve on a giant

i have a giant yukon fx2 the rear shock is standard and has a valve with a dustcap on it when i try to loosen the dust cap the valve is coming loose not the cap is there a way round this

    hold it with something.

    a spanner or some grips.

    lets have a picture of the problem.

    or just unscrew it and sort it of the shock re fit and pump up.

    great focus on the floor.

    But what I can see is that it is not the original cap and it looks like it has bottomed out on the valve. looks like you will have to carefully unscrew the valve. cover it with a cloth so that if the valve does explode off you dont get hit in the face and hopefully it will be retained.

    if you hear it hissing let it lose the air. this is dangerous the shock is under high pressure and the valve could fly like a bullet.

    but a photo focused on the valve may bring about better options.
