SRAM shifters - simple question

Are all SRAM shifters "Push - Push" rather than the Shimano-esque "Push - Pull" ?
2011 Giant Trance Ltd, 2016 Revs, XT bits etc.

    Yes. Although new Shimano shifters are either.

    That's SRAM off the menu for me then. Bad enough having to go from my beloved thumbies to these new fangled push me pull you's. Can't cope with push push - totally un-intuitive for me.

    So get some Paul Components thumbies. The SRAM R2C shifters would work very well I reckon.
