Ok so its not new and its a state but i pulled this in from the shed too see if i could tart it up and get a decent running spare bike for town and such. something i can lock up and not worry about.
Its and old Raleigh bike, 15 speed i think and in a state, So far i have stripped it down as you can see, added a better quality front wheell from another bike i had that was scrapped with a new tire.
The bottom bracket was of a weird design, rather the ball bearings it had odd looking almost half ball bearing looking things with large balls. Thankfully after a clean they spin free and so back in it all went, the bb even had a ring on the drive side that you adjust on the drive side bb cup to alter how tight it all fits? very strange :shock:
the frame is going to be sanded and painted, most likely lime green or something very stand out and bright.
