Rivington Dog Kennel descent

I'm going up to Rivvy tomorrow and want to have a go at the dog kennel descent, I've seen the vids on youtube and can see the trail on google earth, however I'm unsure where the start point is, Is it best to turn left off the road to the mast and go over the top of Two Lads then down to the kennels or is it best to go all the way to the mast and then follow the trail to the right of the road all the way back down ?
