Yeah as much as I like Nirvana his version of smells like teen spirit is a lot better than the original92% of teenagers have turned to rap. If your one of the 8% that still listens to real music put this in your sig.0 -

All along the watchtower by Hendrix
I also like the version of Hurt by NIN that Johnny Cash did but not sure if it supercedes the original.Whether you're a king or a little street sweeper, sooner or later you'll dance with the reaper.

A few:
Groove Coverage - Poison (although do still like the Alice Cooper version)

The video for the Johnny Cash version is very moving. But his monotone delivery just doesn't come anywhere close to the original imo.
Muse - Feeling Good
Skindred - Electric Avenue (ok, in reality it's awful, but it's a cover by a welsh reggae metal band and therefore comedy).
Orgy - Blue Monday
Breed 77 - Zombie0 -

SOAD - Shame
RATM - Renegades of Funk
Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal (what? Don't judge me.)0 -
ah man, what a good call, renegades of funk is such a good tune.
and I'd probably agree with you on Hurt, it's good, but I don't think it eclipses the original now I think about itWhether you're a king or a little street sweeper, sooner or later you'll dance with the reaper.

Was thinking the same about Ignite 8) I bought the Godhead album after seeing them and Disturbed support Marylin MansonWhat if your dreams and fears existed in the same place? What if to get to heaven, you had to brave hell? What if everything you've ever wanted cost you everything you've ever achieved? Would you still go there?0 -
