Riding in to work this morning through Kingston at about 7.50 was a large group of cyclists in RNLI cycling gear. Lycra, not oilskins and sowesters. All in matching RNLI liveried cycling shorts and tops. Variety of bicycles, all drop barred but some more touring. Burds and blokes.
Is it some sort of fundraising thing? I passed about 20 of them, but as they'd pulled in to wait for those stopped at a red light it doesn't count as scalping.
