It's a shame this thread excludes real childhood crushes. It got me thinking about Sarah who lived in Gloucester Circus, and rode a boy's road bike back in the day when crossbars hadn't yet been rechristened top tubes. She was a little bit older than me, definitely someone who would have been called a ''tomboy,'' and moved up to Penistone when I was barely out of primary school. I last saw her cycling in the opposite direction to me on Blackheath with some older boys.
