Rocking front of Bike

Hi folks
I bought a Trek 4300 disc mtb secondhand from a shop last week. The front shock had to be replaced and they put a secondhand RockShox Tora 302 on it.
I went to go for a ride yesterday when I noticed that when I pull the front brake, there is play at the bottom of the head tube. This was the first time I went to ride the bike. Also there is a clicking on right pedal at 10 and 2 o'clock. This only happens when my weight is on the pedal, I ran the pedals freehand and there was no clicking. I am going to return to the shop tomorrow with the bike, but just wondering if people might have an idea what is wrong so I dont get fobbed off in the shop.
Any help greatly appreciated.

1 headset lose needs adjusting.
2 could be lose crank or pedal or bearings in either BB or pedal."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
