    Am I right in thinking they go through the tunnel at the top of the Galibier today rather than up the horrendous ramp they finished on yesterday?

    I think yuo are. The official route gives the pass height at 2556m today.

    It could be. The height given is 100m lower than yesterday's finish and that's about right for the tunnel. I'm not sure why they've cut the top off. This year there's fresh tarmac on the descent between the col and the tunnel exit.

    It could be. The height given is 100m lower than yesterday's finish and that's about right for the tunnel. I'm not sure why they've cut the top off. This year there's fresh tarmac on the descent between the col and the tunnel exit.
