Pulled one of these from a skip recently, has suntour gears - was there anything different about this model than Raleighs other bikes at the time - or was it just a marketing exercise?

    MArketing exercise, but still quite scarce. Anyone in their early 40's would have a good chance of knowing someone who had one, unlikely to be worth much cash though, it was just above entry level.

    They also did a model for dealers only for their 100th anniversary.Gold plated with 105 group . imo a top quaitly campy g/s .Then you would of been talking.
