Just back today from a week in south of France. Watched the tour on sunday......excellent!
Just totally different out there for riding......apart from weather!
SMOOTH roads and drivers that respect you!

Got out 5 days out of 7.........brilliant! :D

    Err, pleased for you :wink: .

    I went out for 3.5 hours on Saturday and it hammered down with rain the whole sodding/sodden way. I had a nice hot bath and a bottle of stout afterwards though, formeedarrbbbleau :)

    Where were you?

    I did 8 days out of 8 last year in Pyrenees-Orientales, just south of Perpignan. A lot of the roads were anything but smooth, especially when you got into the hills.
    There's no such thing as too old.

    I'm jealous beyond measure. I've been to the south yearly (mostly) as long as I can remember, but it's been a couple of years since the last. Maybe late summer...
