I've done a little illustration of the hero of the tour so far in honour of him being the embodiment of the 'spirit' of the tour. Plus I hear he's on the attack again today, good lad.

A Dutch TV magazine (Radio Times type one) bought the barbed wire fence that Johnny Hoogerland got stuck in during the 9th stage and auctioned it off today for charity. I don’t know what length of fence they bought and auctioned off, but it raised 1620 Euro, so about £1500.

The bike that Hoogerland was riding at the time is also supposed to be going to auction for charity in the next days.
