Just got 3 emails with the subject "BV_REVIEW_APPROVED_ja"

content says:
Template for: BV_REVIEW_APPROVED_en This email was sent by: Wiggle
3 Optima, Northarbour Spur Portsmouth, Hampshire, PO6 3TU, United Kingdom


Update Profile

The hyperlink in the Update profile points to [Admin] Link removed [/Admin]

Of course I haven't clickesd on it... am about to get on the phone to Wiggle to find out...

    It could just be someone using Wiggle's name or URL. Trying to fool people into giving them their wiggle sign in details the same as they do with banks.

    I got an email form them asking to send a review for something I bought. It seems what you're receiveing is some kind of automated php style response to a review you may have posted.

    I agree with Suzb, but come from an IT Security background and want Wiggle to check... especially as I looked the t 3rd one just now and....

    Oh that was all in chinese characters on my email.... the thing is. I did actually buy that chain....

    Yep, I had the same mail (in Japanese) thanking me for the review of the light set I bought, and saying it had been published.

    so BV_ANSWER_APPROVED relates to the fact that a review has been approved for publication on their site, that's all.

    There's a link in the email which connects to click.sa.bazaarvoice.com

    I guess that's who powers their review system?

    Someone could have installed a new email server using the wrong language packs. So not a hack.

    Best ask Wiggle themselves
    Its Italian, its carbon.....and some lanky tool rides it.

    I got a variant of it, also in Japanese, but saying BV_ANSWER_REJECTED_ja

    Basically I think it was in response to someone asking a question on one of their products, where Wiggle had replied, but their reply was a load of bollox. So I also answered the question, saying the Wiggle answer was wrong and giving the right answer.

    Answers to questions, like reviews, are held and then only visible on their website when Wiggle approve them
    - in my case, they obviously didn't like me saying that their answer was a load of carp and have rejected my answer.

    With this Japanese email, I sent it back to Wiggle asking them exactly what they expected me to do with it, and they've just replied apologising and saying that I'd obviously been sent it in error
    - no, it was correctly sent, it's just that it was in Japanese !

    (I'b be willing to bet that the _ja on the end of the email title indicates it's the Japanese version of their automated email template ?)

    A few years ago I used to buy quite a lot of stuff from Wiggle, but they've been so much more expensive than CRC, Ribble, Merlin, PBK, Parkers, etc so I haven't bought from them for ages...
